SUMMARY:

 The City of L.A., Department of Public Works and Bureau of Street Lighting is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a community connectivity pilot program in Southern Boyle Heights. Tasks include: 1) Design a large-scale comprehensive network architecture and coordinate architecture implementation and equipment installation to its entirety; 2) Provision of the necessary broadband network and broadcasting equipment to provide connectivity between existing backhaul connection and street light poles as recommended by network architecture; and 3) Install broadband network and broadcasting equipment to provide connectivity between existing backhaul connections and street light poles.
