Meta - Unity partnership to Increase Access to VR for educational institutions
SUMMARY:
As the virtual reality job market broadens, schools are well-positioned to prepare the future workforce. Most schools, especially those serving underrepresented and low-income communities, still experience barriers to accessing the promise of virtual reality, with cost and readiness being the most prevalent factors.
To expand access to these technologies, Unity Social Impact and Meta Immersive Learning have partnered to increase access to VR headsets, educator training and resources for academic institutions and education nonprofits for underserved learners in secondary and post-secondary institutions.
