The Internet Society Foundation is currently offering funding through its “Connecting the Unconnected” program. This initiative supports communities that are developing local access solutions to address the lack of affordable, reliable internet. Ideal for grassroots efforts, this program funds everything from community networks and broadband infrastructure to training and localized deployment models.

This is a strong opportunity for organizations in L.A. County that are working on sustainable, community-centered broadband initiatives, particularly in areas that remain off the digital grid.
