Collaborative Initiative Provides Laptops & Digital Resources to Wildfire-Impacted Families

On Sunday, March 9, 2025City of PasadenaLaserficheHuman-I-TLA DEALLA County Delete the Divide, and NAACP Pasadena came together to provide essential digital resources to wildfire-impacted families. The event, held at the Jackie Robinson Community Center in Pasadena, welcomed more than 400 residents affected by the recent wildfires, offering free laptops, hotspots, and digital support services to help them stay connected and rebuild their lives.

Alongside device distribution, attendees received technology literacy training and digital support services to assist with online applications, emergency aid, and job searches. Community resource tables offered additional recovery assistance, ensuring families had access to the support they needed.

Additionally, companies like Lenovo and Robert Half contributed to the effort, along with organizations such as EveryoneONKetchum YMCA LAWorld Central KitchenCORE.
